𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘢 - crab spider/goldenrod spider/flower spider
Updated: Apr 26
We spotted this beauty today in the kitchen where it was captured and then released outside. This was not a meek spider, it had quite the personality, holding its long front legs wide open. With its distinct colouring and clearly visible double row of eyes, this is a notable little garden friend. As always, nice work mother nature.
- called crab spiders because of their unique ability to walk sideways as well as backwards and forwards
- they have the ability to change colours (pale green, pink, yellow, white) based on their surroundings
